Thomas Miller, the international provider of market leading insurance services, intends to appoint Hugh Titcomb as its new Chief Executive, subject to shareholder approval, replacing Bruce Kesterton.
Hugh Titcomb (pictured) joined Thomas Miller in 2016 having held a broad range of senior leadership roles within the financial services sector. He has a strong understanding of the Thomas Miller Group, developed through his role as Chief Executive of the Group’s investment business, Thomas Miller Investment, and as a member of the Group Executive Committee, enabling him to establish valuable working relationships across Thomas Miller’s managed businesses, its owned businesses and with clients, third party partners and staff.
He has been selected by the Board to replace Bruce Kesterton as Chief Executive of the Thomas Miller Group following a rigorous selection process, conducted both externally and internally. Bruce Kesterton, who is retiring, joined Thomas Miller in 1987 and has been a member of the Thomas Miller Holdings board since 1999.
Charles Fenton, Chairman, Thomas Miller, says: “Hugh has an impressive track record within Thomas Miller and the broader financial services sector. He has valuable experience in leadership roles and I, along with my colleagues on the Thomas Miller Board, very much look forward to working with him as we continue our focus on serving our clients and developing the business.
“Bruce has had a long and distinguished career at Thomas Miller, spanning over 35 years, and we are enormously grateful for his leadership which has helped to make Thomas Miller into the industry-leading firm it is today.”
