What started as a small accounting authority company in 1988 has evolved into a global maritime communication service provider with offices in Cyprus, Singapore, Panama and Germany. Throughout the years, Telaccount Overseas has continued to adapt and develop and has established itself as a major global provider of maritime communication solutions, with more than 110 clients, 1000 vessels and serving 20,000 seafarers worldwide.
“For 25 years, Telaccount Overseas has remained a constant in the Maritime Communication industry and a stable and reliable partner for our clients,” said Managing Director Adonis Violaris. “Thanks to our recent partnerships with reliable distributors and navigational equipment manufacturers, combined with our strong presence in the market, Telaccount Overseas will continue to provide our customers with best-in-class maritime communication solutions and embrace new opportunities for growth and expansion as the economy continues to recover.”
Over the past 25 years, Telaccount Overseas’ maritime communication solutions have powered the voice and data communication of thousands of seafarers sailing on large and small vessels. Clientele includes: Reederei Nord, Norddeutsche Reederei H. Schuldt, Claus-Peter Offen Tankschiffreederei, E.R. Schiffahrt, Oldendorff, Transeste Schiffahrt, OPDR, and Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement.
The celebrations of Telacount Overseas’ 25th anniversary took place during the 13th Maritime Cyprus Conference week at the BSM Maritime Training Centre located near the new Limassol Marina. Entertainment was provided by singer Olga Venetsianou. In between her songs, Mr Violaris gave a short speech, in which he thanked all guests and in particular the staff of Telaccount Overseas for their contribution to Telaccount’s success.
All staff members were invited on stage and all together blew out 25 candles on a cake, immediately followed by fireworks, making it a night to remember at the Limassol Marina. The evening continued with the soulful music of Ms Venetsianou and then with disco music, which guests enjoyed until late into the night.
