MSC introduces iReefer remote tracking and monitoring system for refrigerated containers

MSC has introduced iReefer, its remote tracking and monitoring solution for reefer containers. With iReefer, customers can track their temperature-controlled shipments in real time, anytime, and from anywhere in the world, the line says.

Available 24/7 on the myMSC eBusiness platform or via an API (Application Programming Interface), iReefer gives customers quick and easy access to real-time insights about their shipment – including information on position, temperature, humidity and more.

MSC says: “With all this crucial data at your fingertips, you can significantly improve your decision-making processes and manage your supply chain more efficiently.

“We offer three iReefer packages with different features, so you can choose the best option for your business. iReefer Essential, our free, basic package, is out now! From 1 March, you will be able to upgrade to iReefer Pro or iReefer Ultimate. The latter connects directly with your system via an API.
