Travel retail specialist Macintyre Scott Xtra (MSX) has signed a two-year deal to deliver a catalogue of products to NAAFI’s sites across the world.

NAAFI stands for the Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes and operates many outlets around the globe, providing convenience and a ‘taste of home’ to the UK’s forces overseas. As well as its traditional retail, catering and leisure offer, it also provides outlets in areas that are not commercially advantageous so it can deliver home essentials and services that would otherwise not be available.

The latest contract, which comes off the back of previous work, will see MSX warehouse and deliver well-known brands, including Johnny Walker, Bombay Sapphire, Jack Daniels and Famous Grouse, into NAAFI’s UK ships and overseas locations, including the Falkland Islands.

Reg Curtis, CEO of NAAFI, said: “MSX has supplied NAAFI superbly for well over a decade, servicing our needs around the world. It is one of those unique suppliers that genuinely listens to their customers and tries to meet their needs. When we have suppliers like that we don’t hesitate to make long-term commitments, which is why we are delighted to cement our relationship with this latest two-year deal.”

Nicola Ridges-Jones, managing director of MSX, said: “Nothing stands as testament to a good job done more than repeat business. We truly enjoy delivering a top-class service to NAAFI and we look forward to continuing our long, valued relationship under this latest contract.”
