mitsui-osk-lines_200x200Three castaway Indonesian fishermen have been rescued by the MOL-operated/managed LNG carrier Senshu Maru after being found drifting in the Celebes Sea off Indonesia.

The vessel was sailing from the port of Bontang, Indonesia, to the port of Sakai-Senboku in Osaka, Japan, on Monday when it found the drifting fishermen – their fishing boat having been hit by a wave and sunk –  and immediately began the rescue operations.

The three men were turned over to the Indonesian Rescue Coordination Center.
