McMurdo signs contract with Survitec Group for global expansion

Paper boatsMcMurdo, a trusted name in emergency readiness and response, has signed a contract with Survitec Group, worldwide manufacturers and distributors for the marine, offshore, defence and aerospace survival technology industries.

The three-year contract will enable McMurdo to continue its global expansion, with Survitec being a major McMurdo global distributor and a key provider of maintenance and repair servicing through its worldwide network of service and distribution centres.

The contract will also include joint development of solutions that combine McMurdo’s emergency distress beacon and search and rescue technology with Survitec’s line of survival products.  Currently, for example, McMurdo EPIRBs are integrated as part of Survitec’s life raft solutions and McMurdo AIS Man Overboard beacons are used with Survitec’s life jackets.
