Inmarsat appoints World-Link Communications as partner for FleetBroadband

world communicationsGlobal mobile satellite communication services provider Inmarsat has appointed World-Link Communications, as a Partner for FleetBroadband, serving the maritime market worldwide.

Alongside the agreement, satellite services provider World-Link plans to strengthen its infrastructure and integrate with the Inmarsat network through significant investment in building an Inmarsat Point-of-Presence (PoP).

“World-Link is committed to delivering solutions that bring value and strengthen clients’ ship-to-shore connectivity,” said World-Link-Communications President Asad Salameh.

“Following the acquisition of BSM’s Telaccount Overseas in March 2015, and our agreement with Inmarsat, we are investing heavily to strengthen our infrastructure and investment with Inmarsat, as well as in our value added services. We want to ensure that World-Link customers benefit from industry leading technology and seamless connectivity at sea in a cost effective manner.”
