The final deadline for nominations for the 2015 IMO Award for Exceptional Bravery at Sea is 15th April.
The Award recognises those who, at the risk of losing their own life, perform acts of exceptional bravery, display outstanding courage in attempting to save life at sea or in attempting to prevent or mitigate damage to the marine environment.
Nominations for the Award may be made by United Nations Member States; intergovernmental organisations; and/or non-governmental international organisations in consultative status with IMO.
