Captain Antonio M Padrón y Santiago, IMO Maritime Ambassador and Maritime Authority of Tenerife, attended the traditional reception onboard the Juan Sebastian De Elcano together with representatives of several maritime institutions of Tenerife.
Among other authorities represented were present Prof Nicolas Marichal, Dean of the Polytechnic School of Engineering (University of La Laguna), Dr Antonio Burgos, Director of the Nautical School of Tenerife, Capt Juan A Rojas, Professor at the Nautical School of Tenerife and José L Dominguez, Branch Manager of the Royal Spanish Naval League (RLNE) in Tenerife.
