HMS Bounty transits the Panama Canal


H.M.S Bounty pictured transiting the Panama Canal through the Pedro Miguel and Miraflores Locks as part of a world wind promotional tour celebrating the ship’s historic significance. Crossing Canal waters for the first time since the 1990s, the Bounty left St. Petersburg, FL on April 6th, and is scheduled to visit the US West Coast cities of San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles, among others, before arriving in Tahiti for the 220th Anniversary of its original arrival.
