Cory Brothers has been appointed as General Agents in England and Wales for Bremen Overseas Chartering and Shipping (BOCS) and is now able to offer a monthly service to West African Ports.

The new partnership enables leading UK Liner Agent, Cory Brothers to carry out conventional ocean transports between Northern Europe and the West African coast; provide multi-purpose combi vessels ranging in deadweight from 13,000 dwt to 28,000dwt; offer lifting capacities of up to 160 tonnes.

BOCS, which is already well established in the Europe to West Africa trade, has been serving this market since its foundation in 1990, while Cory Brothers has a long history in representing independent niche carriers.

Mark Cooke, Head of Liner Development, said: “We are delighted that BOCS has chosen to partner with us.  The BOCS agency enables Cory Brothers to further extend its coverage of Africa and provide unrivalled niche carrier services to this continent.”

Björn Hollnagel for BOCS said: “We are pleased to partner with Cory Brothers and are looking forward to supply BOCS expertise in shipments from and to West Africa to customers in UK. It is absolutely important to provide the local industries with a well-established local partner to ensure that the needs of particular markets can find due considerations.”
