Alphatron Marine has announced that Singapore-based shipmanagement company Unix Line has signed an extensive shore-based maintenance contract for their fleet 42 vessels, supporting all navigation and communication onboard.
Unix Line, which operates chemical tankers, has, for many decades, been a loyal customer for JRC equipment and through the premium service contract Alphatron Marine says it will be able to guarantee quick and precise response to unexpected interventions and breakdowns. JRC is a marine electronics producer specialising in the design and manufacture of industry compliant products.
The chemical tankers are fitted with mainly JRC bridge equipment which Alphatron Marine has many years of experience of installing and supporting these and other high tech navigation and communication equipment onboard. Among others, the premium service contract includes 24/7 pro-active vessel monitoring and helpdesk support, yearly health checks, dedicated service coordination team, annual surveys for GMDSS equipment and VDR and worldwide coverage of service stations.
