T&T BISSO has deployed new vessel emergency response resources around the Cook Inlet and Alaska areas in its efforts to meet the Coast Guard’s new Salvage and Marine Firefighting Regulations.

Specialising in vessel emergency response, salvage and marine firefighting services, T&T BISSO conducted equipment exercises in Kachemak Bay in partnership with Cook Inlet Spill Prevention and Response in preparation for its emergency response services to be permanently located in Alaska.

Multiple emergency response assets were deployed during the week-long exercises attended by representatives of Prince William Sound shippers and the US Coast Guard, and included equipment such as lightering and marine firefighting resources, booms, skimming units, a storage capacity barge and a rescue towing vessel.
