COMPA Repairs expands global network for onboard ship repairs

An onboard ship repair network has been expanded with COMPA Repairs signing three partnership agreements to make the service available in Greece, Cyprus and Hungary, and in Latin and South America

The innovative repair service applies composite patching to geometrically complex structures and in locations difficult to reach.

Agreements have been signed with international marine companies from the mentioned markets and combined with previous ones, expand the network of durable, cost-efficient onboard ship repairs worldwide.

Oceantech Shipping & Trading is offering supreme technical support & spare parts solutions to the international shipping market in Greece and Cyprus.

Hungarian innovative company Tanxperts is focused on consulting, inspection and repair of tanks. As part of the signed partnership agreement, Tanxperts team has also had COMPA training. Farol serviços is engaged in the development of innovative solutions for maintenance and repair in the marine & energy industries. This partnership will expand the availability of COMPA Repairs service in the markets of Latin and South America.

The partnership agreements are a part of the project «COMPA 2GO – Composite Repairs for Ships: Service Demonstration, Certification and Market Entry». The project is financed under the highly competitive Horizon 2020 SME Instrument Phase 2 programme.
