Braemar appoints Non-Executive Chairman

Braemar Shipping Services, provider of broking, financial, consultancy, technical and logistics services to the shipping, marine, energy, offshore and insurance industries, has announced the appointment of Ronald Series as its Non-Executive Chairman with effect from 15th April.  Mr Series will also chair the Company’s Nomination Committee.  He succeeds David Moorhouse, who retired from the Board with effect from 14th April 2019.

Mr Series, a chartered accountant, has a strong track record of leading businesses in a variety of sectors and significant experience with international companies.  He is currently the Executive Chairman of DX (Group), the deliveries and logistics company, and until recently was the Senior Independent Director of Clipper Logistics.  He has previously held senior management positions at Lonmin, the platinum group metals producer, Viridian Group, the energy company, and Dubai World, the global investment company.
